This section of the website gathers all the practical information that athletes, coaches and team staff need to plan their trip to Logroño and their week at the 2027 WFDF World Under-24 Ultimate Championships. Here is what you will find on each page:
GETTING THERE – how to reach Logroño: the recommended airports (Madrid and Bilbao) and the other options (Vitoria, Zaragoza, San Sebastián, Santander, Barcelona and the small Logroño–Agoncillo airport). It also explains the team transfer service organised by the LOC from Madrid and Bilbao airports to your accommodation, to be requested by 15 March 2027.
MOVING AROUND – how to get around a compact, walkable city: public transport, the city bus lines that stop at Ciudad Deportiva Pradoviejo, and the tournament transportation service to and from the fields for teams that book their accommodation through the LOC.
ACCOMMODATION – all the accommodation options the LOC can offer, from bunk-bed rooms, bungalows and camping to apartments, budget hotels and 3–4 star hotels, and how to request a tailored offer for your team by writing to services@wu24.sport.
VISAS – what teams and players need to know about entering Spain and the European Union, and the registration letter WFDF can provide to your National Association.
MEDICAL – medical support at the fields, travel and health insurance recommendations, access to the Spanish public healthcare system (including the European Health Insurance Card) and the Event Participant Agreement.
SOCIAL EVENTS – the events planned for the week, from the Welcome Party and the Teams City Parade to the Trading Night and the Friday Night Party, plus the Players’ Village at Pradoviejo.
FOOD – where and what to eat in Logroño, breakfast and lunch at the fields, and the teams’ meal plan, whose information will be sent to the teams once team registration opens.
BOOKING PRACTICE FIELDS – the booking system for free practice fields in the days before the championship. It will open on that page about one month before the event, together with the rules for using the fields.
